CUSTOM FORMULATION SERVICE FOR PRACTITIONERS AND CUSTOM BULK PRODUCTS FOR PRACTITIONERS I have an extensive apothecary (~500 herbs) available for use in three formats. These are raw herb, tincture pharmacy, and 5:1 concentrated extract powder. Why use my apothecary for your needs? • Gives you (the practitioner) greater flexibility in administering or prescribing herbal formulas • No need to house your own apothecary which is very expensive, time consuming, and energy consuming • I am local, so you can receive orders quickly and efficiently (there is a similar service for powders on the west coast and there is no tincture formulation format available in the country) • Very easy to order: email, fax, phone, or internet (this is coming soon) Wholesale accounts can be set up. Orders can be shipped priority mail to your office, or your clients can pick the order up themselves. Direct mail is available or you (the practitioner) can pick up orders yourself. My apothecary consists of approximately 500 Chinese, Ayurvedic, and Western herbs and is in 3 formats. • Raw herb (whole, cut and sifted, and some powders) • Tincture (40-60% diluted grain alcohol in 5:1 ratio) • Concentrated extract powder (5:1 concentration) not all herbs available in this format. My wholesale rates are: Raw herb varies by herb, cost figured case by case Tincture $10/ ounce available in 2 ounce and 4 ounce sizes Concentrated 5:1 powder extracts flat rate .45 per gram You can mark up accordingly to your clients. Shipping or delivery is charged on your wholesale account and you charge your clients accordingly. On direct ship, priced invoices can be excluded and just a packing slip can be sent. Based on your discretion, if the product is received through your office, the client cannot direct order unless you specifically allow this action (I will not steal your clients). If a client comes to me direct, I will check with you first. I also offer custom products (bulk or customer size) made for practitioners. For example massage therapist that would like a specific formula liniment made or a dozen 1 ounce size arnica st. john’s wort salves made for customers. • Again greater flexibility for you • Saves time and energy Upload my speal like a presentation What the product look like: Tincture, custom tea, conc. Custom product Why tincture format is very effective for most? 1) Increased patient compliance 2) Ease of having on hand and taking the formula (due to the fast paced world we live in) 3) No preparation time like teas Those that might have an issue with the alcohol base can place the dosage of tincture in hot water and it will evaporate the alcohol and leave the essence of the formula.
